     "This might sound cheesy but training with Andrew has honestly changed my life. Prior to training with Andrew I've gone through spurts of being dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and staying consistent at the gym for a few months before coming up with an excuse to convince myself giving up was acceptable.

 

     Once Andrew and I started training everything changed! We created an open and honest dialogue with each other and that created a trust that has remained throughout our relationship. He took the time to understand both my strengths and weaknesses in the gym. He created a personalized plan that allowed me to build up my confidence by incorporating workouts that I was super comfortable with and then subtly mixing in training that focused on my weaknesses and before I knew it we were making real progress. When I said I can't he said I could and when I said I was done he said 1 more. We blew past every goal we set.

     I could have never imagined the progress that I would make working with Andrew. From the time we started working together until now I've lost 80lbs and I'm in the best shape of my life. Whether you're looking to make a change to your current routine or are brand new to the gym and want to learn how to do things the right way Andrew is your guy. He's an amazing trainer, an even better person, and someone I'm proud to call a friend.

     "When I started working out with Andrew I thought I was looking for somebody that would simply tell me what to do and watch me do it. Turns out what I needed was someone who was genuinely interested in both my weight loss and overall health. I started my journey with Andrew having gone through several gyms and trainers but Andrew made me really interested in sticking it out.

     Working out with Solid Ground Fitness helped me be more confident in my lifting and give me a better understanding of what I was actually capable of. When there was a workout I simply couldn’t do, instead of telling me to figure it out or do as many as I could he showed me alternate exercises to do that would help me gain enough strength to do the first one. In the past that would not have occurred to me and I always burned myself out trying to push myself too hard too soon.

Today I have lost over 30lbs of fat and gained a lot of muscle and know how to push myself without going too far.      "When I was enrolled in my local county police academy, I sought out a personal trainer to help me build up my physical performance. I already had an active gym lifestyle; however I needed something more to help me reach my long-term physical goals. When I was paired with Andrew, we immediately hit the ground running with my workouts. His workout schedule for me was intense and was completely customized around my academy lifestyle. He was also extremely motivating, making sure that I was able to push through any exercise that I was faced with. Most days would include heavy cardio, weightlifting, and the occasional boxing. I never left a session feeling unproductive.

     Over a few months, I noticed obvious results. My performance for the academy’s physical performance tests increased greatly. I also had increased muscle mass, and increased energy levels.      "Beginning Andrew's physical training instruction, I certainly expected a challenge. Although having been a year-round swimmer for 13 years, I underestimated how challenging the course would actually be. Andrew is a trainer who takes your capabilities and runs with them. Between various weight exercises, strength training, and cardio, he pushed me until my arms and legs felt like noodles. To me, that feeling at the end of an intense 30 minute workout was the BEST feeling. There were times where I would question how much weight I could handle or how many sprints I was assigned, but through his explanation and constant encouragement any shred out doubt vanished. He had me leaving the gym feeling accomplished.

     After training with Andrew twice a week for four months, the results were not only evident during my workouts, but they were visible! By the third month, I was already shopping for new jeans. Not only is Andrew a talented trainer, but he is also a wonderful person. Many stories and laughs were shared - he made working out fun! I have nothing but thanks for him.
